Parent and Guardian Terms and Consent

These terms apply when a parent or lawful guardian ("Parent") links their Edly account to the account of a person under 18 ("Minor", "your child"). They are issued by Individual Entrepreneur Rahimov Feruz Furqat o'g'li, TIN 30212931010013 ("Edly").

1. Who can be a Parent

1.1You must be at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, and be the parent or lawful guardian of the Minor. By linking, you confirm this. If we have reason to doubt it, we may ask for supporting evidence.

1.2A Minor must be at least 14 years old to hold an account. Children under 14 may only study through your own account under your supervision.

2. What you agree to

2.1Consent to the Minor's use of the Platform. You consent to your child having an Edly account, studying the Courses you approve, taking quizzes and diagnostics, using the AI study assistant for lesson help, and receiving study notifications.

2.2Consent to processing of your child's personal data for the purposes in the Privacy Policy, section 3: running the account, delivering Courses, safety and security, progress reporting to you, certificates. This includes the data listed in the Privacy Policy for learners (name, e-mail, date of birth, progress, quiz results, AI chat content, device and security data).

2.3Consent to transfer abroad of the necessary data to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy (cloud, sign-in, AI, messaging) with the safeguards stated there.

2.4Optional consents (each is separate and not a condition of the account): (a) marketing messages to your child (off by default for minors); (b) use of your child's name, photo or work in Edly marketing or showcase; (c) Telegram study reminders. You can choose each one individually in the Parent dashboard.

2.5You agree to the Public Offer, the Terms of Use and the Community Rules on your child's behalf, and you are responsible for your child's compliance.

3. Payments

3.1Paid Courses for a Minor are bought and paid by you through the Parent dashboard. Your child may send you a purchase request; you decide. You are the Buyer under the Public Offer and receive the receipt.

3.2Refund requests are made by you.

4. What you can see and do

4.1You can see your child's enrolled Courses, progress, last activity, certificates and pending purchase requests. You cannot read private messages between the Minor and a Mentor beyond what the Platform shows on the dashboard; these are by design limited to Course discussion. You can ask for a copy of your child's data.

4.2You can withdraw consent at any time in the dashboard or by writing to info@edly.uz. After withdrawal the link ends; your child's account is suspended for paid or consent-dependent features until a Parent links again or the child turns 18, and we will delete the data we no longer need, except records we are legally obliged to keep (for example payments).

4.3You can request correction or deletion of your child's data and a review of any AI-related concern. We reply within 10 working days.

5. Safety commitments by Edly

5.1No contact from Mentors or other users with your child outside the Platform channels. Mentors are told not to ask for or give personal phone numbers, social accounts or meeting places.

5.2No targeted advertising to Minors; no sale of data.

5.3Content reporting and removal; child-safety reports are treated as urgent and are escalated to a person.

5.4AI assistant responses limited to course context, with safety filters and human review of flagged exchanges.

6. Safety tips for Parents

Talk to your child about not sharing personal data online, keep their login secure, review the dashboard, and report concerns to info@edly.uz.

7. When the Minor turns 18

On their 18th birthday the account becomes the user's own. We will invite them to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy themselves. The Parent link ends automatically and you will no longer see their data.

8. Records

We record the version of this text, the time and the IP address of your acceptance, and keep them as proof of consent for as long as we process your child's data and 3 years afterwards.
