Contributor Permission (template)

Written permission from a person who appears in, or helped produce, a Course

Version 1.0 · Effective 26 October 2026 · Audience: contributors and authors

Contributor Permission

Use this letter under clause 5.9 of the Author's Licence Agreement (M-02) whenever another person appears in, or helped produce, your Course (for example an on-camera expert, a producer or editor, a co-author). The Author keeps the signed letter and lists the contributor in Schedule 4; Edly receives a copy on request.

1. Parties and Course

1.1The Contributor (name, PINFL and role in the Course are on the signature page), the Author (the Mentor who uploads the Course) and, for acknowledgement, Rahimov Feruz Furqat o'g'li, an individual entrepreneur (YaTT), TIN 30212931010013 ("Edly").

1.2Course: title, description and the Contributor's role (for example "on-camera expert", "video editor and producer") written here: ______________________________.

2. Permission

2.1The Contributor allows the Author to include the Contributor's contribution (appearance, voice, name, knowledge and statements, scripts, editing, graphics, music or other work made by the Contributor) in the Course and to publish it on the Edly platform.

2.2The Contributor agrees that the Author may license the contribution to Edly on the terms of clause 4 of the Author's Licence Agreement (non-exclusive, for the Territory and the Term, including editing, translation, promotion and use of excerpts), and that Edly may sublicense it as needed to run the platform.

2.3The permission lasts while the Course is published and for existing learners' Access Period afterwards. The Contributor may end it for new sales on 30 days' written notice; the Course is then withdrawn from sale, and clause 4.3 of the Author's Licence Agreement continues for learners who already bought it.

3. Money

3.1Edly pays Royalty to the Author only. Any share, fee or other payment for the Contributor is agreed and paid between the Author and the Contributor. Edly owes the Contributor nothing and is not a party to that arrangement. Agreed arrangement (write "none" if unpaid): ______________________________.

3.2Taxes on any such payment are the responsibility of the person who must pay them under the law.

4. Guarantees of the Contributor

4.1The contribution is the Contributor's own work or the Contributor has the rights to give this permission; it does not copy or include another person's or company's content (films, music, images, texts, software, slides, courses) without a licence; it contains no confidential information of an employer or client; and it does not break the law or anyone's rights.

4.2If this is untrue, the Contributor answers to the Author, and the Author answers to Edly under clauses 5 and 12 of the Author's Licence Agreement.

5. Image, voice and personal data

5.1The Contributor consents to the use of their image, voice and name in the Course, its previews and the promotion of the Course by Edly, as long as the Course is on sale. Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy.

6. Relatives and founders

6.1This letter applies in the same way where the Contributor is Edly's founder or a relative of the Author or of Edly's founder. No different terms apply.

7. General

7.1Uzbek law governs. Disputes are first negotiated for 30 days, then heard by the competent court. The Uzbek text prevails over translations. Signing on paper or by electronic signature has equal force.
